Who am I

Masks, don't be fooled by the face I wear, for I wear a thousand masks, And none of them are me.  Don't be fooled, for goodness sake, don't be fooled. I give you the impression that I'm secure, that confidence is my name and coolness is my game, And that I need no one.  But don't believe me. Beneath dwells the real me in confusion, in aloneness, in fear. That's why I create a mask to hide behind, to shield me from the glance that knows, But such a glance is precisely my salvation. That is, if it's followed by acceptance, if it's followed by love. It's the only thing that can liberate me from my own self-built prison walls. I'm afraid that deep down I'm nothing and that I'm just no good, And that you will reject me. And so begins the parade of masks. I idly chatter to you. I tell you everything that's really nothing and Nothing of what's everything, of what's crying within me. Please listen carefully and try to hear what I'm not saying. I'd really like to be genuine and spontaneous, and me. But you've got to help me. You've got to hold out your hand. Each time you're kind and gentle, and encouraging, Each time you try to understand because you really care, My heart begins to grow wings, feeble wings, but wings. With your sensitivity and sympathy, and your power of understanding, You alone can release me from my shallow world of uncertainty. It will not be easy for you. The nearer you approach me, The blinder I may strike back. But I'm told that Love is stronger than strong walls, And in this lies my only hope. Please try to beat down these walls with firm hands, But gentle hands, for a child is very sensitive. Who am I, you wonder. I am every man you meet, and also every woman that you meet, And I am you, also.

My friends, we all wear different masks everyday. We wear almost thousands of it that we don't even know who we are. Well I'm only pointing out to YOU, to please help me remove this mask of mine. I need YOU, your LOVE, TIME,and UNDERSTANDING. To help me realize and understand the inner me .It's because, that I'm confused of who I am. I don't even know the real me. We always need someone to be there for us, to show us the meaning of life, to enjoy our limited time here on the third planet in the solar system, and to make our lives meaningful to us and to others as well. Learn to open the doors in your heart to everyone who seeks shelter from the storms, who needs comforting, who needs help. Give them a chance, for they will give it back whole heartedly in return and help you understand yourself. So to you all, love the ones who have been dear to you, I'm not talking only to YOU and the people around you, I'm also talking to YOU literally, by that I mean, to myself, yourself. We need also to love ourselves, give quality time for us, accept the fact that God made us this way, For it is a stepping stone to be a better YOU to others and to yourself. Now moving on. We can't live in this world alone, that's why God made man and women in the first place. We always need someone, we need God, our family, friends, loved ones, and relatives. Basically, I'm telling you that we all need help. Here's an interesting story to prove that all of us need help, even if we are the almost perfect person, the richest person, and the most popular person in the world.

---"Don't We All?"

I was parked in front of the mall wiping off my car. I had just come from the car wash and was waiting for my wife to get out of work. Coming my way from across the parking lot was what society would consider a bum.
From the looks of him, he had no car, no home, no clean clothes, and no money. There are times when you feel generous but there are other times that you just don't want to be bothered. This was one of those "don't want to be bothered times."
"I hope he doesn't ask me for any money," I thought. He didn't. He came and sat on the curb in front of the bus stop but he didn't look like he could have enough money to even ride the bus.
After a few minutes he spoke. "That's a very pretty car," he said. He was ragged but he had an air of dignity around him. His scraggly blond beard keeps more than his face warm. I said, "Thanks," and continued wiping off my car.
He sat there quietly as I worked. The expected plea for money never came. As the silence between us widened something inside said, "Ask him if he needs any help." I was sure that he would say "Yes" but I held true to the inner voice. "Do you need any help?" I asked. He answered in three simple but profound words that I shall never forget. We often look for wisdom in great men and women. We expect it from those of higher learning and accomplishments.
I expected nothing but an outstretched grimy hand. He spoke the three words that shook me. "Don't we all?" he said.
I was feeling high and mighty, successful and important, above a bum in the street, until those three words hit me like a twelve gauge shotgun.
Don't we all?
I needed help. Maybe not for bus fare or a place to sleep, but I needed help. I reached in my wallet and gave him not only enough for bus fare, but enough to get a warm meal and shelter for the day. Those three little words still ring true. No matter how much you have, no matter how much you have accomplished, you need help too. No matter how little you have, no matter how loaded you are with problems, even without money or a place to sleep, you can give help.
Even if it's just a compliment, you can give that. You never know when you may see someone that appears to have it all. They are waiting on you to give them what they don't have. A different perspective on life, a glimpse at something beautiful, a respite from daily chaos that only you through a torn world can see. Maybe the man was just a homeless stranger wandering the streets. Maybe he was more than that.
Maybe he was sent by a power that is great and wise, to minister to a soul too comfortable in themselves.
Maybe God looked down, called an Angel, dressed him like a bum, then said, "Go minister to that man cleaning the car, that man needs help." Don't we all?-----

So, friends, families, relatives and anybody out there , if ever somebody asked you if you need any help, just answer "Don't we all?"

GOD's baseball game

As I was rummaging the net, I come across this fascinating story. I was very much intrigued by the title "God's baseball game". I don't know but as I read the story, I felt like my heart was warmed by the words that was displayed on this LCD's. Who would've thought that God played a baseball game? Well I think this was just a virtual way of showing young and old minds how much God loves us. And funny that the author made the story in a very modernized way, not to mention interesting and very much loved by the baseball fans out there.Well I can't summarize the story, so just read it for yourself.

"Bob and the Lord stood together, watching a baseball game. The Lord's team was playing Satan's team. The Lord's team was at bat, the score was tied zero to zero, and it was the bottom of the 9th inning with two outs. Bob and the Lord continued to watch as the batter, Love, stepped up to the plate. Love swung at the first pitch and hit a single, because Love never fails. The next batter was named Faith, who also got a single because Faith works with Love. The next batter up was named Godly wisdom. Satan wound up and threw the first pitch; Godly Wisdom looked it over and let it pass, because Godly Wisdom does not swing at Satan's pitches. Ball one. Three more pitches and Godly Wisdom walked, because Godly wisdom never swings at Satan's throws. The bases were loaded. The Lord then turned to Bob and told him He was now going to bring in His star player. Up to the plate stepped Grace. Bob made a face... Grace certainly didn't look like much to him! Apparently Satan's whole team agreed: they all relaxed and laughed a little when they saw Grace. Thinking he had won the game, Satan wound up and fired his first pitch. To all but one's amazement, Grace hit the ball harder than anyone had ever seen. But Satan was not worried; his center fielder, the Prince of the air, let very few get by. He went up for the ball, but it went right through his glove, hit him on the head and sent him crashing to the ground; then it continued over the fence for a home run! And so the Lord's team won. The Lord then asked Bob if he knew why Love, Faith, and Godly Wisdom could get on base but could not win the game by themselves. Bob, looking a bit sheepish, admitted that he didn't know. The Lord explained, "If your love, faith and wisdom could win the game, you would think you could win it by yourself. Love, faith and wisdom will get you on base, but only My grace can get you home. My grace is the one thing Satan cannot stop."

TIme after Time!

Is time important? A simple question yet requires many explanations either logical or scientific.
Well majority of us will agree that TIME plays an important role in our life.
Do you know the value of a year?
-ask a student who failed a grade.
The value of a month?
-ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
The value of a week?
-ask a secretary who failed to present her paper works.
The value of an hour?
-ask the lovers who supposed to meet up in a date.
The value of a minute?
-ask a person who missed the train.
The value of a second?
-ask a person who just happen to be caught in an accident.
I know how important time is, not just by thinking logically, researching and pondering words to show that it is important. I just want you to know, that long ago, TIME let me experience life without his existence.
Have you experienced before that at that very moment you were at your best, your smile reached your ears, and your world is almost complete? And just after a few seconds, you felt like your life is like trash, that the world left you all alone, that you were cursed by everyone? Have you experienced that?
Well I did. It was summer time, the sun shines brightly in the velvet sky, truly a pleasant weather. I just woke up that day and suddenly got bored so I went outside and played the sport that I loved the most, basketball. I was at the heat of the game, getting pressured by the enemies as they cross the court to our line of defense, I was there on a defense position, one of the opposing team dashed into the middle. What did I do? I tried to stop him of course, that's the body mechanism of a basketball player. I was in front of him and suddenly . . . . . . .   . .BAAM! I was on the floor and was wondering why are they looking at me. And then it struck me, my arm just won't move and felt numb, I cant believe it with my own eyes .I didn't expect that because of that decision I was forced to quit the game that I love the most. That is the event that TIME made me experience life without him. I cant believe that a split second can change your way of living. Well thats all for today. . .Goodnight! haha

Hey, its me. The name is Harjienne, they call me Deive, Yen, Syoti, Bee? haha and etc. I'll skip the rest of the introductions first because I'm in a hurry to post my very first blog. Trying to fight the time, because as the day comes to an end I'll lose those little bit of points I will gain for just pressing and typing this jumbled thoughts of mine. For starters, I'm not that much of a writer, and to tell you the truth I sucked at english class. Well for now all I have to do is to end this, because I don't know what to put in here.
